Final Transnational Project Meeting in Aveiro, Portugal
On 15 June 2026, the partners of CREATE LAB: Design-led Facilitative Leadership (2024-2-LT01-KA210-SCH-000289841) met in Aveiro for the project’s final transnational meeting.
The meeting offered an opportunity to review our achievements, finalise the project’s results and discuss their dissemination and continued use in schools across Europe.
CREATE LAB supports principals, deputy heads, lead teachers and other school leaders in moving from traditional, top-down leadership towards a more collaborative and facilitative approach. The project demonstrates how non-formal education and creative methods can help schools navigate change, unlock the potential of their teams and foster inclusive innovation.
The project’s main outcome is a comprehensive professional development programme for school leaders focused on advanced facilitation skills and practical visual methods, including:
-LEGO® Serious Play®
-Design Thinking and Design Sprints
-Graphic Facilitation
-Collaborative problem-solving and change management
Our final meeting marked an important milestone—and the beginning of a new stage in which the developed approaches can continue supporting school communities and strengthening educational leadership.
