Out the shadow - masks

Creating these Commedia dell’Arte masks has been such a fun and crazy journey! Each mask shows a different character—from the silly Arlecchino to the grumpy Pantalone—and I had to make sure they really pop on stage, especially under black light.



That means using special glowing paints and bold shapes, because in black light, everything is dark except what glows. It took a lot of testing (and a few mistakes), but now the masks look amazing when the lights go off! It’s so cool to mix this old theatre style with something so modern and visual.
